chants and monks and buddhism in Asia

Was just thinking how lucky i feel to have had the chance of listening to monks chant, watching them eat and get on with their day-to-day in temples and monasteries around Asia.

The profound long sounds of Buddhist monks chanting, the om mane padme hum in Swaiambutinah, that second time in Kathmandú, the monks singing in Gandan temple in Ulan Bator and Bayasgalan in northern Mongolia and the others in Luang Prabang and Siem Reap, and China. I have heard monks chanting in different corners of Asia and the feeling of peacefulness that invaded my chest and the tears it brought to my eyes are unforgettable moments. Unforgettable tears for thankfulness for having had the chance of experiencing this first hand and the joy it brought on me.
